Will teachers be given the prep time to draw on these materials, especially in the community colleges? If not, the fact that high quality material is available is irrelevant. Is saving $200 on a textbook really the thing we should be focusing on in education right now? It seems to me there are many other problems (e.g. unqualified instruction by TAs and part-time faculty) that are more worthy of attention.
